NEW DX TUNERS FROM SONY - THE XDR-F1HD AND XDR-S3HD

Nowadays you won't find much on the market in the way of new audio equipment worthy for DXing. The last tuner we knew about was the Sangean HDT-1. But recently Sony introduced the XDR-F1HD tuner, a tuner the size of a car radio that offers AM/FM, RDS and HD radio in one small package. It also offers great sounding audio plus supurb adjacent channel selectivity, overload rejection and sensitivity. And best of all is the price. In some cases this radio sells for less than $100.  And it's here just in time for DX season. (5/21)
Also check out the XDR-S3HD, a table radio version of the F1HD tuner. If you have no amplifier to connect to the tuner, go this route instead. It's the same great radio!
