Welcome to the February 2005 edition. Happy Valentine's Day to everyone! My apologies for a late February edition, but I have been out of action with a severe cold and just couldn't seem to get myself into gear for the last week or so.

I wish to welcome a large number of new subscribers this month coming mainly from various amateur radio clubs across Canada.

We are being teased a little by Mother Nature here in Eastern Canada over the last week or so. Warm weather and sunshine has had everyone hoping for an early spring, myself included! But, of course, the rest of February and the unpredictable month of March are yet to come, so let's not jump the gun too quickly. More snow is forecasted for our region tomorrow.

Please visit the new Radio HF website at www.radiohf.ca. The site, besides changing to its own address, has been upgraded and revised.

The January Survey results

January's question was, What was your 2005 New Year's Resolution, if you made one? And, have you kept it so far?

We had 16 responses to the survey. Seven people indicated that they do not make any New Year Resolutions. Six people indicated that they hoped to exercise, lose weight and take better care of themselves. Two people wanted to get actively involved in ham radio and one of you wanted to focus more on his retirement and act more retired!

The February Survey

How about talking about classic television this time around? Our question is, What is your all-time favourite television show, past or present?

Please send your response by e-mail to hfnewsletter@yahoo.com.
