Disclaimer: The content and comments included in the websites featured in this newsletter are those of the individuals, groups or organizations responsible for each website. They do not necessarily represent those of the editor, unless specifically noted.

All subscribers' e-mail addresses are kept private and confidential. To have yourself added or removed from the distribution list of this newsletter, contact Sheldon by e-mail at hfnewsletter@yahoo.com.

Welcome to Vol. 3 Number 04 of the Radio H.F.
Internet Newsletter. Previous issues of this newsletter can be found at www.anarc.org/cidx/radiohf/index.html [right here! -- Ed.].

Happy Easter -- Happy Passover -- Happy Spring!

Even though the calendar said spring here in the northern hemisphere, winter refused to let go, as the Montreal area received a 45 to 50 centimetre dumping of snow, just when we thought it was all over for the season. Hopefully that was the last of it!

Speaking of the last, I have decided to drop the Question of the Month and Website of the Month features which appeared in the last two editions. Once again, the number of people responding to the questions was in the single digits, so it appears that the majority of you are just not interested. Thanks to the few of you who did take the time to respond.

I have to say that I was not really too surprised at the low turnout. It seems to be simple human nature for people to take things for free, like this Newsletter, but for most to give nothing in return. Fortunately, we continue to have a substantial number contributing material each month to keep this publication interesting. Please remember that your input is the most important part of this Newsletter.

Without your input, I cannot continue to find all of this information myself. So, if you find something of interest on the web, please send it along. Your comments on the Newsletter are also appreciated. The e-mail address for all contributions and comments is hfnewsletter@yahoo.com. Remember that contributors are entitled to a 2% discount on their next purchases from Radio H.F.

Be sure to check the amateur radio fleamarkets and hamfests calendar in the Publicity Zone, for events in your area. If your group has an event scheduled, please send me the details and I will gladly include the event on the list.

Let's get things under way with this month's selection of sites. I thought it would be a good idea to include a special Top Ten section of radio-related sites. These are all sites which have previously appeared in the Newsletter. Given that we have a large number of new subscribers each month, and many of you have not been with us from the start, I thought I would pick what I believe to be 10 indispensable websites to any radio hobbyist. These are sites that I use almost every day. Many of you may already have most of these 10 bookmarked. You may also have others which you feel fall into the same category. If so, why not tell us about them. I hope you find these Top Ten as useful as I do.
