- The overall governing organization for French-language amateur radio in Canada, and especially Québec. The site is in French.

- The place to look up Canadian Amateur radio operators. Updated directly from Industry Canada's database daily. Includes the ham's qualifications (licence class).
- Internet Radio Linking Project http://www.irlp.net
- Created by Canadian ham David Cameron VE7LTD, IRLP uses voice-over-IP to link repeaters through the Internet, allowing hams to talk to someone in another city as easily as in your own city. Instead of using radio or satellite links, it uses the ubiquity of the Internet. Over five hundred nodes exist in locations around the world.

- The Family Radio Service (FRS) radio equipment has quite an impact on handheld, wireless communications around the world. These tiny two-way radios have been used for all sorts of applications, from kids play things to vital communications network systems. This group, and its website, have developed a program for using FRS equipment for volunteer-supported neighbourhood communications. Looks like a creative and important use for these units.

- Grove is a major mail order vendor of shortwave and scanner radios and accessories in the United States. They are also the publisher of Monitoring Times magazine, one of the few magazines that deals with the radio monitoring hobby.

- This new site, put on-line on January 26, 1999, is based in Richardson, Texas. It is dedicated to the collecting of radio station QSL (verification) cards. Presently the site showcases shortwave broadcast station QSLs. They have plans to add pirate cards in the future. There has also been some talk of a section dedicated to utility stations. Simply click on the country whose cards you would like to see and there they are. The webmaster is also welcoming input from other QSL collectors.
